Jakob Floess (*1994 in Weingarten, Germany) is a Berlin-based media artist and researcher whose work explores synthetic images through the frameworks of media theory and philosophy. By integrating cultural artifacts with personal and speculative narratives, a network of references is created, shaping conceptual and installation-based artworks. This practice spans writing, video game development, 3D objects, sound, and code. He holds a degree in Cultural Studies and is currently pursuing an MFA in Theory and History at the University for fine Arts Hamburg.
